Check for pending calculations

It may be useful to check for any pending calculations if you need to verify that all program line earnings calculations in the system are currently up to date, or to check for any program lines where earnings may not currently be up to date due to recent changes in data.

To do this, simply click Config at the top of your screen and then on Processing in the drop-down menu. This will take you to the Calculation queue page.

The left-hand side of the Calculation queue page shows all program line earnings calculations that Trading Programs has not yet completed. The queue provides information about the program lines whose calculation is pending as well as its priority.

Each calculation is given a priority based on the change that triggered it. A calculation which has been triggered as the direct result of a user edit is given higher priority than a calculation triggered by a background process.

The result of each calculation results in summary program line level values for current and future earnings as well as detailed values at the transaction line level.

As you see on the right-hand side of the page, there is a filtering section. This filtering section allows you to filter the pending calculations depending on supplier, date and time queued, and the reason it has been queued. As shown in the image below, there are many reasons why the calculations are being processed, for example the start date on the program line may have been changed.

You can also navigate to the edit page for a program line from this page by clicking on the reference of the program line within the list.

Please note — the page will automatically refresh the calculation list periodically to allow you to effectively monitor the process over time.
