A proposal trading program is a trading program which has been proposed but has not been fully approved or activated and is excluded from calculations and reports throughout Trading Programs. Proposal trading programs enable you to configure the terms of the trading program and of the program lines within the trading program during the trading program negotiation process.
Proposal trading programs can be found in the Proposals tab within the trading partners area, where they can be created and edited.
Once you are happy with the terms of a proposal trading program, it can be activated. If the trading program is configured to use automatic workflow, then it will be automatically activated once it has been fully signed.
If the trading program is configured to use manual workflow, or does not have a configured workflow, then the activation process is manual and can occur at any time.
