Individual price lists are located within the Config area of the Trading programs app.

Channel admin users will have access to the Config area and pricing configuration within Enable. If you require additional help, please reach out to our support team here.

To navigate to pricing config:

Step 1: Click on Config in the green banner at the top of the page.

Step 2: Click on Pricing in the drop-down menu. You will automatically be navigated to Pricing within the Config area (displayed below).

Price lists within the Config Pricing area

The following details are displayed for each price list:

  • Reference: A unique reference for the price list, e.g. a reference number if applicable.
  • Name: A unique name for the price list, e.g. using the trading partner name and date of the price list.
  • Currency: The currency used for prices in the list.
  • Latest version name: The name of the most recent version of the price list.
  • Latest version complete: Displays as No if missing entries for prices exist in the latest version, or Yes if the latest version is complete.
  • Last updated by: The user who last updated the price list details or prices.

Within the list, click on the relevant price list to open the price list version.

The Price list page will display the reference at the top of the page, and the dimension type the price list operates over. A description of the price list is displayed below the reference.

Note: These details will have been set in config structure by a channel admin user. Learn more about editing these details and viewing the price list usage here.

Price list version details

Price list versions

Price list versions will display on the left of the page, and can be clicked on to show details for the specific version. Price list versions are a group of price list entries that have the same start date.

Price list details

Within each version, the following details are displayed:

  • Name: The name of the price list version, e.g. April 2024 Base Pricing.
  • Start date: The date that the price list version is active from. Only one price list version will be considered active for a particular date (i.e. the start dates of two price lists will not overlap).

Note: Price list versions do not have end dates. If you are using pricing for trading programs, some program lines will be locked to specific versions and others will use the latest version with the latest start date. If you are using pricing for special pricing agreements, this will depend on the Relevant Price List Version setting on the SPA, e.g. if using Active Price List at time of sale, then the price list version at the time of sale will be used.

  • Trading Partners (e.g. Suppliers/Customers): The name displayed for this field will be based on the name of the group of trading partners in your Enable channel. If a trading partner is displayed, the price list will be available to share with them via Collaborator.
  • Last updated by: The user who last updated the price list details or prices.
  • Missing entries: The number of products (or dimension items) which have no price attached.
  • Supported decimal places: A non-editable field, automatically populated with the number of decimal places chosen when the original price list was created.

Note: The name, start date, and trading partners can be edited - remember to click Save if you make any changes.

Price list template

The price list template determines prices for each product (or other dimension name). Click Download template to view the prices for the version, as well as to see where missing entries exist.

Deleting a price list version

Within the price list version, a version can be deleted to remove all completed entities for the price list.

Step 1: Ensure you are viewing the correct price list version.

Step 2: Click Download template to view and verify that the prices are not required before the price list version is deleted.

Step 3: Click Delete version to remove all inputs for the price list version.
