AD’s Challenge

As AD expanded across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, rebate management complexity increased significantly. Thousands of individual rebate components — including product-specific incentives, volume-based rebates, and divisional programs — had to be tracked and calculated accurately for 850+ distributor members.

Prior to Enable, each supplier agreement was manually configured in Excel. Distributor purchase data was collected separately, rebate calculations were performed offline, and results were manually entered into Lawson (now Infor) financial systems. This process relied heavily on institutional knowledge and was not scalable.

With only four team members responsible for managing hundreds of suppliers and millions in rebate calculations, the risk of errors, delays, and reporting inconsistencies increased as the organization grew.
