Kevin Betts – Senior Rebate Advisory Manager

Kevin started his career as an Auditor, during which time he qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and gained invaluable exposure to financial and commercial arrangements across a wide array of different industries. Kevin’s first experience with rebates was on the audit of a small independent Builders’ Merchant based in Buckinghamshire, which provided an early insight into the potential complexities of rebate agreements and the challenges that businesses can face as a result; both in terms of implementing effective internal procedures and optimizing commercial relationships with their supply chain.    

Kevin built upon this experience by joining Grafton Merchanting GB, a nationwide distributor of construction materials, as a Management Accountant in the Rebates Team, before being promoted to manage that team after 6 months. Whilst managing the Rebates Team, Kevin sought to overcome the challenges that he had witnessed as an Auditor by facilitating more effective information sharing between the Procurement and Finance teams and by identifying new ways for internal data to be used to optimize commercial arrangements.   

Now working as Senior Manager in the Advisory Team at Enable, Kevin utilizes his experience of working with rebates on a day-to-day basis to help customers maximize the commercial benefit derived from their trading arrangements. Being fluent in the ‘language of rebates’, regardless of the industry in question, Kevin is able to quickly understand the challenges faced by customers and support them in developing robust solutions.
