Our charities of the year 2021

Charitable giving is an important part of who we are at Enable. Last year we managed to raise an amazing £3,100 for the Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank. At the end of last year we opened up nominations for Charity of The Year 2021 to our Enable team, of course we were inundated and ended up choosing not one but THREE charities to support in 2021 who are local to our Stratford and San Francisco offices. We will be supporting the Stratford-upon-Avon Foodbank once again and two new charities: Helping Hands who are based in Leamington, as well as Glide who are located in San Francisco. All of these charities together tackle poverty, homelessness and hunger which is especially important during these tough times as more people and families are in need of food and shelter. Not everyone has immediate access to a great support network but these charities provide safe places, support and essentials for those in need.https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/enablecauseoftheyear2021- Stratford Foodbankhttps://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/EnableCauseOfTheYear2021 - Helping Handshttps://www.gofundme.com/f/enables-cause-of-the-year-2021 - Glide

Our goal of running 5270 miles

This year as a company we're collectively running 5,270 miles (the distance between Stratford-upon-Avon to San Francisco) to raise money for our chosen charities. That means completing approximately 100 miles a week between us - easy, right? We’d like you to encourage your friends, family and colleagues to pledge a donation of a certain amount per mile/km that you complete. Enable has already pledged 50c / 50p per mile completed by all of us together as a start! You can pledge to sponsor any of us per mile by emailing us at charity@enable.com or clicking on the links above. We can't wait to take on this challenge and achieve something great together! We will keep you posted on any events, but in the meantime please go and find out more about the work they do on their websites, they really are incredible charities.
